I had 18 years of Private Education in England. I love the English language. At school I came top in all the languages – English Language, Literature, Latin and French. At University I got a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honours in Art History and Psychology, then my certificate for Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). I've been teaching English for 15 years now to many nationalities, including: English, Dutch, Indonesian, Japanese, French, Russian, Chinese, Italian, Scandinavian and more. I have a gentle, caring, holistic approach to teaching. I have been trained in the psychology of learning and use this in my methods. I have worked with "unteachable" children with learning difficulties (e.g. autism), and have taught music for years alongside English. I like to create an environment where my students feel safe and comfortable for better learning (that's why Dutch can be spoken in the lessons if preferred).
